Willow, Buttercup, and skipper

Named from left to right these three ducks are large and in charge! Both Willow and Buttercup are Golden Layers and can lay up to 300 eggs a piece each year. Skipper, on the other hand, is a Muscovy duck that we found abandoned in the road. Luckily, she ran into us and lives happily with her found family. Their favorite thing to do is to play in the mud and their favorite snack are mealworms.

Tortellini the Tortoise

Tortellini is the oldest and wisest animal on the farm and will be for a good while. Tortellini is a 8 year old Sulcata tortoise and loves to take naps and soak in his bathtub. His favorite snacks are bananas and sweet potato leaves. Sulcata tortoises can live from 80-100 years so we will need a lot more snacks.

Speedy and the kittens

This little feral family lives the high life in the corner of our yard! Mother Speedy has three kittens Porsche, Bentley, and Lincoln who love to play with their feather on a stick and eat three hearty meals a day.  They also love taking naps on their pillows and watching the other animals on the farm.

Hang tight, because there are a lot of friends to go through here. There are a total of 10 turtles, ranging from yellow bellied cooters, red-eared sliders, and map turtles. You can catch them tanning out in the sun all day, usually on top of each other. They love to eat lettuce and turtle pellets next to their personal waterfall and fake gator head.

Pork Chop and Bacon

The newest friends on the farm, Pork Chop and Bacon love to play in the mud and sleep in their straw. These two little piglets have a long way to go till their full grown but they will make it on a diet of corn and apples.
